One of our favorite summertime events is hitting the streets this weekend in the Third Ward: Gallery Night & Day. On July 22nd and 23rd, over 50 venues in the Third Ward come alive with events suitable for the art connoisseur and beginning art admirer.

We’re proud to have Cynthia Hein as our guest at Lela Friday evening and all day Saturday. Cynthia began her career in alterations and custom bridal. While studying costuming at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Cynthia got hooked on leather after a leather designer shared their craft with her.

In 1997, Cynthia opened up a storefront in downtown Wauwatosa and the business has grown and evolved to offer jackets, fur, shearlings, handbags and other expertly crafted leather goods.
