School is starting, football is on and the weather is changing. That could only mean one thing: cozy fall styles are in at Lela. If you haven’t stopped by the shop lately, you’re in for a revamped and refreshed Lela. Earthy textures, warm colors and a whole lot of fall. New styles also mean a few new designers that we’re excited to share with you. Here’s a sneak peek into this season’s newest styles.
In true Lela fashion, Veeca was founded by a strong, confident woman, tired of the corporate lifestyle and unafraid to step out on her own. This engineer-turned-entrepreneur was inspired by origami techniques, texture and global destinations. Travel-ready and wrinkle-resistant fabrics make Veeca a popular choice for jet-setting trendsetters to dress up, or dress down.
Survival, Inc. has created super-soft knits from their Manhattan garment district warehouse for over 20 years. They specialize in the higher twist yarns that provide serious warmth and coziness. Perfect for fall errands and snuggling on the couch. A Survival sweater will soon become your most coveted sweater.
Since 2001, Tey-Art’s vision has been natural, sustainable fibers as well as factories and co-ops that subscribe to the principles of Fair Trade Labor. We had to jump on these alpaca, wool and cotton designs, crafted by skilled artisans of Peru, many of whom located high in the Andes mountains. Pieces from Tey-Art are expected at the shop in the next few weeks, but you can get a sneak peek.
We look forward to having you in to try on these new additions to the Lela family. Additionally, for those who are interested in consigning with Lela, we are currently taking fall/winter items at this time. Stop in on Tuesdays and speak with Jennifer.
